Future Technology

Means Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access), represented in IEEE: 802.16 defines wireless networks and the metropolitan region.

Today, the possibilities of Internet access by a user are limited to three categories:

- Dial-up (modem connects to the Internet via a telephone line with a speed of access of small size)

- Access via WiFi (Wireless Fidelity "- wirelessly anywhere in a room where there is a wireless router for a limited distance)

- Broadband (cable broadband connection at high speed over your telephone line or network cable)

Standard 802.16

O IEEE Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is an international non-profit, professional standards, publication of articles and conference for the development of electronics and electrical engineering.

WiMAX IEEE has developed since the early 80s and culminated in 802.16m (Mobile WiMAX 2.0) in the near future.
